Regular check-ups are vital if you want to maintain your dental health.

What do you do?
During a check-up, we will check the state of your teeth and gums, sometimes using x-rays. This way, we can spot problems which might get worse, and lead to you needing more invasive treatment, or even losing teeth.

A word of warning
Do not wait until you get toothache. By the time you become aware of pain in your teeth, it may be too late to avoid serious consequences.

How often do I need a check-up?
Depending on the general state of your teeth, and on the personal advice you get from Calpe Dental, it is sensible to have a check-up every 6 months, or at least once a year.

Even more important is to see a hygienist regularly. We recommend you have a check-up with our hygienist at least every 4 months.
